Which is the most reliable brand of skid steer loader for land clearing?
Wednesday, April 15th, 2009We need to replace our old failing BobCat loader. We're using it to move rocks, remove multiflora rose, and fallen small trees and generally push debris around. Not sure if BobCat is the most reliable anymore. Also to do some light grading and snow removal. It's being used on sloping terrain.
Cat is a good brand. I don't think there is a lot of difference between the brands anymore in that they all have attachements and longevity. I would talk to a rental supply house. Ask them which one will accept other brands attachements. Go for your most versatility.
God Bless

The John Deere 315 is a highly capable compact Skid Steer Loader featuring high productivity, high up-time and importantly low operating costs. With a 748kg lift capacity and the ability to take many interchangeable attachments it is fantastic for confined areas.
